for online procurement of its employee benefits products and services. Additionally, the companies
announced that UnumProvident has made a $1.25 million purchase of BenefitPoint's Preferred Stock.
UnumProvident will leverage the BenefitPoint platform to streamline Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and
renewal workflows with the broker/consultants who have committed to the BenefitPoint platform, and will
phase in the BenefitPoint solution within its United States operations over the coming months.
