BenefitPoint Co-Founder Presents at Second Annual CyberInsurance Conference

According to GartnerGroup, an information technology research and analyst firm, transaction-capable insurance sites will increase in number eightfold in the year 2000.

Mr. de Grosz will participate in a panel entitled, "Leveraging the New Infrastructure: eCommerce Provides Foundation for Industry Evolution." Other panelists include Jim Durkin, president of Gallagher Benefit Services for Arthur J. Gallagher, Inc., the fourth largest brokerage worldwide, and Randall Stram, vice president of Institutional Business Channel Management for MetLife. Mr. de Grosz and the other panelists will discuss the current and future state of business-to-business eCommerce in the insurance marketplace. Specific discussion points will include:
  • Archaic processing environments forcing the creation of new technologies and business models;
  • Choosing the most profitable eCommerce solution;
  • Implementing Internet technology solutions and, overcoming cultural change management obstacles;
  • Re-defining product procurement, administration and self-service through single source data management.

Kurt de Grosz, co-founder, brings extensive industry expertise to BenefitPoint where he is responsible for operations and sales.
